Crews still cleaning up after train derailment north of Cloquet

BROOKSTON, MN — A week and a half after a train derailed north of Cloquet, crews are still cleaning up the mess Tuesday.

Officials with Burlington Northern Santa Fe said 38 cars derailed Saturday, February 16 on Fond du Lac Reservation land along the St. Louis River.

BNSF officials said more than 5,000 tons of coal spilled.
