Sunshine today, but snow returns tomorrow

TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will continue to see mostly sunny skies across the region. There might be a few clouds here and there though. Highs will be in the upper teens and lower 20’s with southwest winds 5-10mph.

Tonight we will see increasing clouds and a slight chance of some snow, mostly after midnight. Lows will fall into the single digits, but remaining above zero for most areas. Winds will remain southwest 5-10mph.

WEDNESDAY: Snow will start to move in sometime after 7am in the Ports. So expect the morning commute to be a little slow going, but the evening commute will probably be slower. Snow will continue throughout the day with east and northeast winds 5-15mph. New accumulations will be between 3-6” for the Ports and much of the southeastern half of the region. Highs will be in the lower 20’s.

THURSDAY: We will have mostly cloudy skies on Thursday with decreasing clouds a bit into the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-20’s with west winds 5-15mph.

FRIDAY: There will be a 30% chance of some more light snow moving into the region on Friday, but right now it looks to remain mostly south. Highs will be in the mid-20’s. Check back for more updates concerning a winter system this weekend!  As of right now it looks to remain south, but still could impact the southern half of the region.
