DNA connected to a Duluth murder case challenged in court
DNA connected to a Duluth murder case is being challenged in court.
25-year-old Jamal Jackson is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 31-year-old Scott Pennington. Authorities say Pennington was shot in the head in Downtown Duluth in early September.
In court Thursday, Jackson’s attorneys challenged the DNA collected after a search warrant was obtained in connection to this case.
No word at this point exactly how that DNA relates to the case.
Jackson is currently being held on $750,000 bail. He’s due back in court in April.
