DULUTH, MN– With veterans day on Sunday, the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, or MAC-V, non-profit was awarded a huge check.
MAC-V is an organization aimed at ending veteran homelessness.
So far, the organization has helped more than 5,000 veterans.
Friday evening’s donation of $10,000 was made possible with the help of Operation Hat Trick, AAR, and KBJR.
The proceeds from all Operation Hat Trick purchases are distributed to selected organizations supporting their mission.
“To be able to distribute funds that have been raised locally in our community to help veterans in need is what MACV been founded on and what we’ve been all about,” said MACV Programs Manager Paul Pedersen.
Friday night’s contribution brings Operation Hat trick’s total donation to date up to $30,000.
