College of St. Scholastica to offer “test-optional” policy for undergraduate applicants
DULUTH, MN – Students hoping to attend the College of St. Scholastica will no longer need to take an ACT or SAT.
St. Scholastica is adopting a “test-optional policy” for undergraduate applicants.
The school approved the move on Thursday.
Officials say the new admission approach looks at the full potential of a student instead of just a test score.
The change affects students now applying for admission to the fall 2019 class.
More than 1,000 accredited, four-year colleges and universities are now test-optional, according to the National Center for Fair and Open Testing,
